fine art prints from original art works digital images and photos.
We scan directly from the original art work , transparency's,
negatives, film, photo's and reflectives and are able to scan paintings mounted
behind glass without the removal of the glass. We use state of the art Creo
iQsmart A3 scanner, or our H20 Phase One 16 mega pixel digital backed Hasselblad
scanning camera for sizes up to 2.1 metres square.
We colour proof
all fine art reproducton, digital fine art, and canvas photo prints and Canvas
Prints to customer satisfaction.
Our production capability and
print quality is of the highest standard as a result of using only the latest
and most advanced technologies available. We can produce archival fine art
digital reproduction prints canvas reproduction prints and photo reproduction
prints with a width of up to 1118mm (44") and a depth only limited by the
propotional constraints of the image being reproduced and the paper media style
used.
Our prints qualify to be called 'Giclee' by the Fine Art Trade
Guild.
The quality of our printers and the use of only archival pigment
based inks and the use of archival papers and archival canvas means that all of
the prints produced by Inkspecta have a lightfast expectancy of over 100 years
(independant testing carried out by Wilhelm Research www.wilhelmresearch.com)).
As with traditional paintings and photo's proper care will maximize display
life. It is recommended that prints on fine art paper be displayed under
glass and kept out of direct sun light. We provide our Canvas prints with a
protective varnish so that they can be displayed in the same manner as an oil
painting (without glass). Inkspecta provides a protective varnish coating to all
its canvas prints and advises canvas prints can be stretcher mounted.
The cost and commitment for the artist to have a painting printed is
minimal. On our Epson 10000CF Archival Fine Art Printer, a typical cost would
be, including the setup proofing and the initial print eg, 1 at 16" x 20"
(40.5cm x 50.cm) on a selection of fine art paper is $165.00, repeat prints
would be $66.00 each, or for the same capture and print on archival Canvas, 1 at
16" x 20" (40.5cmx50cm) $209.00, repeat prints would be $110.00 each.
We
encourage the Artist to allow some time (typically 1.5 to 2.5 hours) and be
involved in the scanning, colour proofing, and paper/canvas selection.
The SCAN setup fee of $99.00 applies to each original only once. A
variation to scan costs applies to multiple scan's in one session where a
variation to the setup in not required, each additional scan costs $22.00.
Example 5 scan's in one session with no variation to setup would cost $187.00. A
CD of every job is kept in our archives allowing us to reproduce the art work
upon request without further setup fees. The typical example shown above
includes the once only set up fee.
If you need a high resolution image
tiff file on CD for CTP use by other print companies for high volume print runs
it will incur a fee of $330.00 this includes a single A4 proof print. A CD/DVD
of the artwork as a high resolution jpeg file for use on web site or for
emailing will cost $55.00
Photo Restoration, Enhancement and
Enlargement can be carried out to all photo's, prices from $33.00 plus print
price per each request, all restoration work is subjet to quotation dependent on
amount of restoration work required, from minor to extream.
